April 30...9:10 PM

Hello from our first full day in Bucharest--after a leisurely breakfast at9 AM (terrific night of sleep) we had our first orientation to Romanian "ways" and things to do and not do.  After lunch we went to a town which sounds like Perrishte and played at the orphanage there for about 4 hours.  Dennis found muscles he hadn't used in a bit playing soccer (fotbal), basketball and catch with a baseball.  I was playing catch as well as tic-tac-toe and a dot connect game.  Fun!  We are tired tonight.  Tomorrow will be a day of museums and playing.  We are wishing we had more of the language to communicate but are being treated wonderfully.  We miss you all but are loving the experiences here.  Over and out for tonight!

We've arrived-April 29

We're Here!!!  After 2 very long days of travelling we are now at the Heart to Heart Team house in Romania--it is on the outskirts of Bucharest and very lovely.  We were met at the airport by 1 girl....and found out that we were the team for the next 2 weeks (the other group cancelled so it is just Dennis and me!).  We have had a nice dinner of sloppy joes followed by a walk and we will shortly head to bed (it is 8:45 here).  God has blessed us in our travels and we are excited for what tomorrow will hold.  Sending our love--until we write again.  Margie
